“Don't worry if you've tried stopping before and failed. I asked my healthcare professional about all the options. She's helped me find a stop smoking treatment and a support programme.”

Three key things to talk your health professional about:

  1. Being a serious quitter

“I told them that I was really determined to quit and let them know other methods I had tried previously.”

  2. Being a knowledgeable quitter

“I asked about the many treatment options currently available, and I was told about:

    • Stop smoking treatments and the main differences between them all
    • Support - what it is and how I could make it work best for me”
  3. Being a successful quitter

“By involving my healthcare professional, choosing the right treatment for me and using a support programme, I felt I was giving myself the best chance of quitting and becoming a non-smoker for good. Make that appointment today!”
